My objective: Ideally combine goes to a good home to be taken care of, used as intended, and enjoyed. No GPS, cameras or sophisticated technology.

Why selling it? I've reluctantly heeded the nagging reality that I cannot use or care for this combine as I envisioned; nor what it deserves. Additionally, I am doing the combine, the prior owners Family, and its pending new owner a disservice by continuing to hold onto it.

Why'd I buy it? I met and visited with prior owner shortly before his passing and I was moved by his stories of how he and his son (deceased) acquired, used, and took care of it, always barn-stored; As an avid collector of John Deere lettered tractors (31 GP to 51 R) and related implements, I could not risk this beautiful, low hour (1,048 at the time) combine being sold at local auction for scrap or parts; and, at the time I was closing in on buying additional acreage where I could use it. Unfortunately, the deal fell through and no comparable, affordable opportunities since.

Has been barn-stored majority of its life until recent years when Family needed the space. Plywood sheets cover grain tank and bulk of combine (grain tank, etc.) tarped (see pics).

Located in Montrose, CO - the Western Slope region where the climate is very kind to older equipments paint and metal as pictures and videos show.
ALSO in Montrose: IH Barge Wagon (10 box)  complete, works.
Select approx. distances (miles) from Montrose: I-70 60; Cheyenne, WY 394; Amarillo, TX 545; North Platte, NE 557; Hays, KS 580; Wichita, KS 653; Omaha, NE 834
Ideally Combine removed by October 31, 2022 unless other arrangements are made. Seller pleased to assist with loading.
